"At Einstein’s. 6 Lessons in the Age of Super-Innovation"
31st March 2026 – Presentation of the new book written by G. Verona and D. Manca, with F. Giavazzi, on innovation and the challenges of the digital age

On Tuesday 31st March, 6.30 pm, at Palazzo Invernizzi Conference Centre, the book A casa di Einstein. 6 lezioni nell’era della superinnovazione (PIEMME, 2026) written by Gianmario Verona and Daniele Manca was presented. The authors spoke with Prof. Francesco Giavazzi about the key themes of innovation and the challenges of the digital age.
The book
What do Vasco Rossi, Steve Jobs, Sam Altman and Descartes have in common? And why “At Einstein’s”? It could only be Albert Einstein, the timeless paradigm of genius, imagination and discovery, guiding readers on a journey through the universe of innovators, businesses, incubators, and the successes and failures that mark progress.
Verona and Manca – two authoritative voices in the Italian academic and journalism arena – have identified six fundamental lessons in the book, authentic “secret ingredients” to survive and succeed in the era of super-innovation: one dominated by computers, big data and AI algorithms. An era in which innovating does not simply mean changing, it means thoroughly understanding the processes that turn ideas into value.
Through a perspective weaving together past and present to shape the future, A casa di Einstein offers practical tools to those who wish to create and innovate – entrepreneurs, managers, students – but also to institutions tasked with defining effective public policies. The book also analyses the global balance of innovation, highlighting the leading role played by the United States and China and the challenges Europe must face to avoid falling behind.
“You are not born an innovator. You become one”, the authors have reminded us: a statement of intent that runs through the entire book and is its central message.
