The Foundation is committed to supporting Universities also through the funding of research projects, scholarships and university chairs in the fields of Economics, Agri-Food Sciences and Medicine-Surgery.
It contributes to cultural, educational and social initiatives and projects.
Since its establishment, the Foundation’s disbursements have exceeded 113 million euros.
A share of these funds is allocated to universities for scholarships.
In 2024 Portus - Hospitality Programme for Scientific Researchers and University Talents was created. In cooperation with universities, the Foundation has implemented a programme aimed at funding university researchers, aspiring PhDs and visiting professors to encourage them to stay or move to Italy through a financial and service package tailored to their needs in terms of accommodation and services.
