Movable assets

The Foundation's movable assets are managed according to an investment strategy, as provided for in the Statute, mainly aimed at safeguarding them from inflation, so as to ensure the Foundation's smooth operation (Article 12 of the Statute).

Real Estate

The Foundation's income-producing real estate is managed by a company - wholly controlled by the Foundation - which owns commercial properties located in Milan fashion district with shop windows facing almost exclusively onto Via Monte Napoleone. They consist of seven ground-floor buildings and one store.
All income properties are leased to leading national and international operators in the fashion industry.

Agricultural Real Estate

Agricultural real estate amounts to approximately 750ha and is located in Eastern Milan, namely in the towns of Rodano, Vignate, Settala, Pioltello, Cassina de' Pecchi, Liscate, Truccazzano and Mediglia.

Most farmland falls within the perimeter of Parco Agricolo Sud Milano, which regulates the use of the land and buildings within it, protecting the landscape.
Approximately 300 hectares of this land are included in Trenzanesio Estate, where Villa Litta Invernizzi is located, a 1580 building in Palladian style, with its 18 th -century church and outbuildings. These properties have been under monumental protection since the beginning of 1912. Almost all of the land is given under agricultural management to armers who are contractually instructed as to how it is to be managed and used.
